He's simply boring. Romney's biggest problem is that he's a beige businessman, a slick-haired corporate higher-up widely perceived as a flip-flopper. Romney joked on Jay Leno that "at the end of the day, just to really relax, I take off a dark suit and put on a light one." I really do NOT know who I'm going to vote for. I don't like ANY of the candidates.

Whether McCain was right about that or not, it's too subtle of a dig to prove, but we can be sure that Romney would have used that against McCain if he could have.
Well, there's one thing McCain doesn't have that Romney does. I'll leave you to figure out what that is.

Romney might pick Huck as a VP candidate because he balances the ticket and provides a southern connection.
McCain will not pick Huck because he doesnt balance the ticket. Both are viewed as "Populist" (read moderate/liberal) Republicans.
McCain is much more likely to pick someone like a Ducan Hunter (but not Duncan Hunter) who is much more of an established solid conservitive. He might pick some former Souther Governer. Some have pointed to the Florida Governer, and while he too is a moderate, he does have the southern connection.
