If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Micah 6:8 KJV
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2 KJV
I hope for a speedy recovery and peace for your mother.
No, she is not in risk of being in sin or going to hell..of course not.
Most woman who believe in the uncut hair doctrine wear their hair up and it can't really tell it's long and it certainly doesn't cover anything that it should when they are praying or being used in prophecy. Remember it's a covering.
My hair covers as much head then any woman lol.
This lady who has been a pastor's wife and a Pentecostal saint nearly her entire life is NOT having her hair cut at a beauty shop to violate the teachings of Paul she is having brain surgery. God certainly knows the difference even if you folks don't?

Bro. PM, I think any woman who had long hair most if not all of their life and had to have some of it cut or shaved off would want to keep it.
Will be in much prayer for your Mom.

When you say this... what exactly do you mean? Is women's hair her covering or not?

Here is my 2 cents, it's all in the attitude. She didn't do this for any other reason than surgery. I remember talking to Sis Haney about wanting to fast but being a diabetic I couldn't. She reminided me that it's not just the act of the fast but that I could fast something I enjoyed. When I was a kid I had a friend who would fast Snickers. It was a sacrifice for her....
I haven't been to that thread yet, so I'll have to check it out!
I just thought it was unique that my mother, who has never cut her hair, wants to carry her cut hair with her. I'm wondering (out loud) if she somehow feels guilty!
My question was just to sit the pot a little! It's getting too boring around here!
