Anyone care to list the down side?

BTW I am not saying there isn't one - just wondering if someone would like to make a list or start a thread....

The down side is for the enemy, for we might actually get this message out...

The down side is also for the denominal churches in the area, for people finally might know where we are and what we are all about...

There was a preacher at the Friday session where resolution #4 was passed that hasn't been a part of the UPC for years however is still as Apostolic as any of us and has a larger church than all of us... I jokingly asked him, "well did you vote yes." He said jokingly back, "No way, I didn't want it to pass, now the UPC churches in my area might give me some competition."

I don't get "Elder Craft." I only met him once and never really knew him. Is he trying to "prove" something after leaving MS? That's just the impression that I've been getting from him over the last few years. I hope I'm wrong. He always seemed like a stand up guy.
I don't believe he has been near as effective since opposing Phillips and Hanby, which cost him his two best friends. I loved hearing TC prior to 1977, been flat every since in my opinion. Could this be sour grapes, after going all out in 1977, and losing influence anyway?

It's seems to have turned "vengeful" and now it seems like it may be a spirit of Retribuition against the UPC....

TLC is a sweet man, but you are on to something there.. They used to be the 3 Musketeers, but after the two went their own way, he hasn't been the same IMO..

They are really in a no win situation. If they do nothing people will complain that they are ignorant of what is going on and are not trying to keep the org. together and keep people from leaving.

If they address the issue then acusations like yours are made.

Bottom line is that no matter how they handle this they will be criticized.
