Do they not embalm in Brazil? And why was there blood? What did she die from?

We do not embalm. She had an enlarged heart from a bite from what we call the kissing bug.
Why the blood? You would have to see how things are done here to really understand...Mother's coffin was dripping blood also...quite common here...
