Hmmm. If He mislead on this, I wonder...

Anything to say what a person refuses to believe is truth no matter how ridiculous it is. Some are so predictable. But they really convince themselves!

Well you believe that is false and so do I. And what became of those who did not go to Heaven? I thought 50% of this doctrine was that some in the first century would not die until they saw the Lord coming in glory?
If only the dead were taken to be with Jesus in 70ad guess what that means for this doctrine? The people he said that to DID DIE. They were not TAKEN at Christs coming. They had a nice spiritual experience but had to die and not be caught up to always be with the Lord.
If the Lords coming in glory did not include them getting to be with him forever they were probably let down.
They no doubt felt they had been "left behind".

Hymenaeus did not teach resurrection to come in any form.

How can you assume the Church goes on as usual AFTER the coming of Jesus?
Next off Prets make it FORCEFULLY CLEAR if scripture is not addressed to YOU what right do you have claiming anything that was given to someone else? The scriptures were addressed to certain Churches none of which we were in.
And since Jesus already came and resurrected the ones he promised he would what right do we have to a Bible that was written to teach THEM how to prepare for his coming? How do we know he wants the same things for us as he did for them seeing his coming appears to have ended their "dispensation" or "Church age".
It would be like someone trying to serve God in the New Testament Church out of a Bible that was only written to Jews.
It would not be relevant FOR THEM.

Do you believe that ANYTHING Jesus ever said, was speaking specifically to those in their generation, in regard to things happening, and will not effect anyone in later generations?
If so, how are you any different than you are describing?
Where is the rapture in the 10 virgins parable? Do u see it as the 5 foolish left behind in a rapture in this parable?

Re: Why I Am A Futurist
hmm, i think mystery babylon is better described as a system, of which nyc is merely a symptom; and it would follow that it is a "trinity," i think

and that you have most likely have been side-tracked, @ "liberals," wadr.
