If Zimmerman did wrong, he should pay the price for that breach. However, Trayvon should not be ruled an innocent stroller thru the neighborhood, just because he is dead, he may have been hype up on pot and therefore full of bravo. The whole was a perfect storm for disaster, and all the fact must come out.

They tested the victim for drugs, but not the perpetrator. The victim did not have any drugs in his system.
Besides, no one gets hyped up on pot-- pot doesn't make anyone violent, it does the opposite.

Amen.
The race issue is a part of the tragedy and a distraction to the real issues of this case.
Not once have I ever called zim a racist.
I don't believe he is.
zim is prejudiced and this case is more about prejudice, an overzealous wannabe cop, a loosely written law and a local police department that failed her citizens.

Being a former MP and Marshall (with a unique deputation and limited powers), I try not to feel this way-- but often I have to make myself think about the good ones I know. The average Police Officer has honest intentions.
It is sensational to put the bad cops on blast, and often it is necessary-- in the interest of justice.

Pot generally chills people out.

The audio is made as clear as possible, and while it COULD be something else (some people have come up with rather creative alternatives), it does sound like he's muttering "****ing coons." I think (as the reporter commented) that this audio would be useless in court unless Zimmerman acknowledged that he used that term.

Sounds like "punks" to me. The second sound, in the word, is too hard sounding to come across as an "n" in "coon".

You could be right...who knows? This audio will be very subjective, to say the least, so I doubt it will be helpful (or harmful) in court.

Re: Anger + Sadness = RAGE
Thought provoking opinion piece by PJB in Human Events
It's all about race now
"If it had been a white teenager who was shot, and a 28-year-old black guy who shot him, the black guy would have been arrested.
So assert those demanding the arrest of George Zimmerman, who shot and killed Trayvon Martin.
And they may be right. "
"Black journalists point to the racism manifest even in progressive cities, where cabs deliberately pass them by to pick up white folks down the block.
That this happens is undeniable. But, again, what is behind it?"

Re: Anger + Sadness = RAGE
George's brother says that the screaming on the 911 tape is his brother George. If that is the case, he seems to be in great distress.
