The truth of this issue is not that difficult to understand. The negative effects it can and does have on many who are struggling should not be ignored. I have heard that finances are at the top for reasons marriages fail.

There are not many options for a person to escape to who find themselves stuck in that environment.

You have not, can not and will not show where the Bible says, Tithing has ended, Thou Shalt Not Tithe, Do Not Tithe, The Tithe is no longer HOLY unto the Lord, The Tithe is a scheme to get your hard earned money or any such thing.
Simply - You LOST so go preach your false doctrine to your Baptist One Saved, Always Saved, Unconditional Eternal Security, Give God your Heart and the Preacher your hand, Be baptized in the Baptist Church and you can kill your neighbor and all his family and be shot dead and go straight to heaven! Praying for your salvation and the Revelation of God's Word to you.

Man, AB, that is some pretty strong language. I am not so sure that those who don't believe in mandatory tithing but still give to the church do, in fact, give less... they may give more.

Also, Baptists - many are quite staunch tithers. Beyond that, I think your post is downright disrespectful to the many wonderful Baptist people I know.

Hoovie, The perpetrators of this challenge against The Tithe have said how they now go to a Southern Baptist Church and are quite proud of what they are and what they teach.
I too am friends with Baptists and preach for them but I do not subscribe to Unconditional Eternal Security or the Five Points of Calvinism. I was trying to show how wrong these guys are in many of the false doctrines they believe. It is not personal as I do not know any of them. I think if they are bold enough to keep putting it out there - SOMEBODY that stands for something should be bold enough to expose their deception. I have not preached for 39 years around the world for nothing! I am a FAITH PREACHER and for these guys to come on an APOSTOLIC FORUM and say that The Tithe is for a bunch of money grabbing,high living, people deceiving preachers - is a slap in the face of every Apostolic Preacher and I personally RESENT IT!
