As I've proven using UN official documents and its website, this was indeed an official meeting of the 69th Session of the General Assembly.
It wasn't the General Assembly. It was their empty seats.

SO: Where indeed do these (diplomats) live?

Do you know?

The issue was that there was nobody at the meeting.
Wrong again. I posted the claim from blackjohnwhite which started the whole argument. He claimed it wasn't the General Assembly. You're trying to change it to be about the members.

Yeah, I also contend that to address the assembly you have to address the members.

You are claiming "web attendance". <grin> It was a two day event. Let's review footage of the PREVIOUS day.

<grin> yes, but the next time they gather will be September. Which is the best time to "address the UN" since the UN member states will be present to be addressed.

Next you can explain the concept of "addressing the non-present"
HAHAHHA

Re: Lee Stoneking Addresses UN

Doesn't "High Level Thematic Debate" and "Plenary Session" and all that sound a bit pretentious? The UN sure is proud of itself.
