Honestly I don't care for either one... but I do enjoy some folk singin and banjo pickin, but more ore for the nostalgia than anything else.

Can you bake some no bake cookies and offer them for sale on this forum? I think they would ship OK.

Shaved Ice? You folks are VERY Pentecostal are'nt you?

Was there a Doggie bag from the hotel restraunt or were the kids with you two?

A $250.00 car?? That is only a weeks worth of gas in the Show Me State!! I will take two of them. Can I choose the color?

Your expedition ought to bring more than 250.00 - the steel price is up this week.

Are you traveling with the young kids? Where is YC at this time?
Sorry it took me so long to answer. Had a BUNCH of stuff to do and am just now getting to the computer.

Yes, I can make (not bake) some no bake cookies and sell them for anyone who wants some.

Yes, We are VERY PENTECOSTAL and are using a shaved ice booth to raise money to send the kiddos to Youth Congress.

No, there was no children or a doggie bag from the restaurant. The boys were at grandma's they just got home this evening.

A couple in the church bought another car and sold us their Chevy Citation (1985) for $250. and that will save us a lot on gas.

My Expedition would see for more than $250. if I cleaned it up.

No! I'm not going with the young people to YC this time. My oldest son, Colton, is going, but not Moma. The last time I went, I almost killed myself (no joke) and hubby says, "NO WAY!!!!!!"

Youth Congress is in Charlotte, NC. It's a loooooooong way from Kansas, Toto!!!

We had a luncheon at the church today. Our youth are going to something called LIFE 2007 in Orlando starting next week. So this was for the parents and kids so we could get the finalized info. I forgot about it, so just went to Kroger and bought a dessert and took along a loaf of beer bread that I had left-over from yesterday.

Tonight we are celebrating our pastor's 14 year anniversary at our church. The youth has parties on Sunday night's all summer called CRASH parties (Christians Relaxing At Somebody's House). It will at the pastor's house this week. The adults are going to crash (hehe) their party, so we'll all be there. It'll be a potluck celebration. I made those weiner things that you cook in a mixture of catsup and grape jelly and then bought a giant choco chip cookie cake thing at Kroger. I'm feeling VERY lazy today!!

My wife cooks a feast every Sunday the family comes over. Judt like the ole times. We are Southerners living up North so the resturant food is not up to snuff. My wife loves to cook and I love to eat it. I know I am spoiled.

You are worse than spoiled!!! If I had to cook on Sundays, I don't think I would last long. That sounds like something my grandma used to do, and it was always awesome. But I don't have time now, unfortunately. I would cook every day of the week but Sunday, if I had my choice. But we end up eating out a lot, just due to time schedules.

We don't eat out alot the food here is different. My wife loves to cook she calls it her therapy. We have large meals nearly everyday. We might eat out a couple of times a week and that is generally sandwiches unless we go to Louisville or Indianapolis. The we live it up. If we lived at Jackson my wife would cook very little with all the good eating places y'all have. Popeyes chicken on up.

Popeye's have the best biscuits; they make them with club soda - very weird, but it works!!

Yes, we have tons of restaurants and are getting more all the time. Jackson is booming, which is good for us. We lived in a tiny little town for 20 years before we moved here (1,500 people). We feel like we're in the BIG CITY!!!
