Re: Anger + Sadness = RAGE

Right on, first of all trayvon was no scrawny kid he was 6 foot 3 or so and played football ,Zim was five nine, course he didnt look like he been in a fight he delivered the fight ,not Zim, in addition they fail to tell you that Zim mentored many black kids. He also was cleaned up by the paramedics.

Re: Anger + Sadness = RAGE

I have personally decided that I cannot continue to have these conversations with anybody who insists on making this about Sharpton and his ilk. Sharpton was thousands of miles away at the time of this real-life incident, and the people I am interested in are Martin, Zimmerman, and the police. I honestly don't think many of you realize how much you allow the other things to keep you from being objective.

Honestly consider this: What if the racial roles were reversed, all particulars remained the same, and Zimmerman was a black man who had followed and killed a boy of another race after making the same phone call and having the same history. If Sharpton and his ilk had come out demanding that he be released, I have absolutely no doubt that many of the same people would be passionately arguing the opposite side of the issue. Take a step back, consider, and be honest with yourself.

Sometimes the net result of race baiting is that people of the opposite race are taking the bait without even realizing it. In the above scenario, my opinion of what I heard on the 911 call would not have changed one iota and I would not have been swayed one way or another in this case.

Re: Anger + Sadness = RAGE

With Zimmermans brother talking I look for some medical records to be seen soon,so we will see. In my opinion I don't see how the Zimmerman family can be so confident that George is not guity, I mean the evidence will be presented and apparently Zimmerman family knows more, Would not make any since to me for the family to be backing up Georges story if they did not know some kind of details, and you know they have seen the medical records already. They all could be bluffing, but it would make no since to do that specially with everything being looked at with a fine tooth comb..

My opinion wouldn't change either, which It's not clear what who confronted who to altercation. If roles reversed there is a good chance we wouldn't even know about it. One point I think your failing to see is there is no proof zim followed him to confrontation.

Stew,
I was reading another forum where some of the members were under the impression that Trayvon was 8 years old. That was because of the misrepresented photos put out by the media - ALL over the nation.

Come to find out he is just a regular little punk with his graffiti on school property, marijuana, jewelry, a tool used for burglary, filthy Twitter posts and a photo of him flipping the bird.

I didn't think that Zimmerman's record was a big deal. In the case with the police officer, he showed responsibility and took the required class to make that right.

I don't believe Trayvon was particularly standing around sucking on some Skittles. I would need to hear more. Our local news station omitted the part in the video where the police officer is looking at the back of Zimmerman's head - pushing the racial narrative.

And as to the 911 calls. I didn't hear what you heard. They interrogated him for five hours and didn't have enough to hold him.

This is a very sad case, no matter what your view of it is, I have three sons and therefore can understand and give the parents alot of grace.

And it is my prayer that the authorities will sort thru all the evidence and bring this sad situation to a just conclusion. I have no agenda in the case, only that I am highly suspicious of the leftist media and the race agitators.

If Zimmerman did wrong, he should pay the price for that breach. However, Trayvon should not be ruled an innocent stroller thru the neighborhood, just because he is dead, he may have been hype up on pot and therefore full of bravo. The whole was a perfect storm for disaster, and all the fact must come out.

Re: Anger + Sadness = RAGE

I saw a tweet last night that there's a @killzimmerman account tweeting some pretty vulgar statements regarding this whole situation.

Obviously, the account owner's intent for justice is evidenced by his account name.

Audio of a 911 call where either Zimmerman or Trayvon (or both) can be heard screaming in the background. Also audio of the gunshot.

Re: Anger + Sadness = RAGE

Analysis of the 911 tape portion where Zimmerman allegedly used a racial slur:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQdsJwpSUKw

The audio is made as clear as possible, and while it COULD be something else (some people have come up with rather creative alternatives), it does sound like he's muttering "****ing coons." I think (as the reporter commented) that this audio would be useless in court unless Zimmerman acknowledged that he used that term.
