hey, the wheat comes with tares! the KJV is hard to beat, anyway, i agree. just pointing out that even it has translation problems.

The English language keeps changing...that is the problem. The received text(textus receptus) that it was derived from is the accurate part.(the older the English the better for us to get closer to the original text)

I thought this was a thread about tithing not the KJV.

Just give it up, the KJV is outdated it needs to go, it has served its purpose, it was a great translation in its time, but it is time to move on.

Let us throw a big retirement party for the KJV, for all the good work that it did, and lets us send the good old KJV to the retirement home.

My God, this last post is unbelievable...our own oneness preachers threaten us similarly...Now that is enlarging hell's gates...that post gives me cold chills

Those teachers use the Bible, probably the KJV should we then get rid of the Bible?
They call upon Jesus, should we then stop calling upon Jesus?
they praise and shout hallelujah, should we then stop praising God and shouting Hallelujah?

Just because some abuse the teaching of the tithe does not mean we get rid of the tithe, what we just need to do is to get rid of those greedy preachers.
