your statements to DF sound very rebellious in nature.... kinda like, You aren't God, so you aren't going to tell me anything.... with the easy attached waiver statement, God will tell me if He wants me to know/do something....
the fabric of this particular post undermines the very principle of submission to a pastor.... my pastor could call me up on the phone right now and ask me any question or tell me anything.... as long as his statement(s) were aligned with the Word, I would act immediately/take heed to.... I certainly wouldn't tell him, God will ask/tell me that if He wants to, but not go through you....
i'm going on record as saying your post reeks of a rebellious spirit....

Brother,
I have the utmost respect for men and women who dedicate their lives to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He chose for them. When we submit our will to serving him, surely one would listen to his direction and his voice.
Were you suggesting that we should place the voice of the pastor above the voice of our Savior? One thing that I learned many years ago was that men will let you down due to the mere fact that they were human.
A good shepherd doesn't control his flock by yelling and abusing them, but with kindness and love to show them that he has there best interest at heart.
I don't know who you are but I will pray for you today.
God bless you and give you peace, so that you may represent his peace to those who may not know him.
The following is for you, Rhoni -
You've been there. You've escaped the sandy foundations of the valley and ascended his grand outcropping of granite. You've turned your back on the noise and sought his voice. You've stepped away from the masses and followed the Master as he led you up the winding path to the summit....
Gently your guide invites you to sit on the rock above the tree line and look out with him at the ancient peaks that will never erode. "What is necessary is still what is sure," he confides. "Just remember:
"You'll go nowhere tomorrow that I haven't already been.
"Truth will still truimph....
"The victory is yours...."
The sacred summit. A place of permanence in a world of transition. The Applause of Heaven

Flesh is flesh, Spirit is spirit, we must worship Him in Spirit. The flesh is enmity with God. So no, I was not suggesting we should place the voice of the pastor above the voice of our Savior.

In a simple thought, As goes the leader so goes the flock. It was the leaders who did things in their own way and called it after God.
In Ezekiel Chapter 9
Those that lamented before God, recieved a mark in their forehead.
Every man, woman and child who did not have the mark was then killed.
Interesting it was on the day that marked the 6th year, 6th month and 6th day.
Sound familiar? 666
I believe in the last days the devil wil cause the memory of this day, in which God marked those who lamented after him for change.
The world in the last day will lament for change and accept a man who wears God's mark of the day God protected.
However the Devil will be setting those up who wear that date on their forehead as a lament against God.
These are my followers and we march towards hell.
It starts with leadership.
As for annointing Saul had his problems he was Gods man as king over Israel.
Many quote and say touch not God's annoited.
Hoever when it came to the things and teachings of God.
He tells the one in Linen, to start with the Elders.
So Saul was the king not the preacher.
In the Tabernacle it was the Priest that needed to be clean in the holiest of holies.
The priest was the one to judged...

Chosenbyone,
Thank-you for the kind words... The APPLAUSE OF HEAVEN, don't you love to read it!
The past few days I have felt a calm, in the midst of a personal storm. Sometimes there are places God wants us to go where no one else can go with or for us, but I do feel my spirit changing and my focus becoming more clear.
There is a song that goes over and over in my mind:
It's gonna be worth it all.
It's gonna be worth it all.
It's gonna be worth it all some beautiful, happy day.
It's gonna be worth every long mile,
Every heart break and every trial.
It's gonna be worth it all some beautiful, happy day!
Chosenbyone...it takes one who has also survived...to be aware of the struggle of other survivors, doesn't it?
Blessings, Rhoni

Thank-you! It is so easy to take things out of context to apply to unrelated situations isn't it!

Yes, Rhoni, we survivors are linked together for we've walked in each others shoes. We've witnessed the injustice of the nameless and suffered with those that didn't fit the mold of what many consider "christians".
I never want to become so hardened that the Potter would have no choice but to stop molding me into his image. So many people have held on to their own personal belief system for so long, that they refuse to stay on the Potter's wheel so that he can work on them.
Many feel that they have it all and their hearts have grown cold and indifferent to those around them.
I'm going to stay on the Potter's wheel so that I may reflect his ideas, his love and his purpose. How about you, Rhoni?
