That's what people do when they are too lazy to

prove another's point wrong, or not able to, or don't want to accept it for

whatever reason (like: it's so different from what I've always believed). The

best thing to do is get the Book out, get on prayer. And either find ways to

show it wrong, or accept it.

Paul shows us the basis for his 1Co11 concept

comes from the Beginning. When we read in the Beginning, we see no

commands nor statements of God which indicate the concepts which Paul

refers to: We could say Paul makes up his concepts. But we are polite and we

say he deduces his concepts from what he reads there. Because he doesn't

get his concept from commands or statements of God, we could call his

concept a principle (which Paul alone has discovered). Thus, a principle,

made up or discovered by a man, is made known to the Christian world and

enters scripture when 1Co is canonized. He is the first ever to state this

concept. First ever after 4050 years. If God had not commanded this concept

for the first 4050 years, then how is it possible that the OT saint could ever

learn it, when Paul is the first ever to write of it. It may have been discovered

or done by other means. It is inconceivable that the OT saint had not shown

respect to God's order of authority by symbols. How then was it known to

them? However Abraham and Jacob discovered tithing may be a clue. It is a

principle discovered by them which eventually was practiced by Christians --

as a principle. Principle reveals the ways of God but not as commands. What

was known to the OT saint as a principle of head-covering was not known to

them by commands which aren't there. They learned this principle by

deductive reasoning. Paul says of the idolator in Romans 1 that they are

without

excuse when not recognizing God's eternal power and Godhead from what

nature reveals. Deductive reasoning was rejected (by these who became

idolators), along with the truth of the

nature of God. Truth of God is revealed by deductive reasoning methods

apart from commands. The principle of head-coverings can be known by

deductive reasoning. God-given instincts reveal the principle of head-

coverings. To wit: Imagine this hypothetical but potentially realistic scenario

with Adam and Eve after the Fall. Because of his love for her, Adam is known

to often compliment her, including her beautiful hair. But they have a

disagreement - they are angry. Angry people do totally irrational things. Eve,

because she has often been complimented on her hair, chops it off to spite

Adam. Yikes! Her hair thus takes on a symbolical significance beyond what it

already had before. Before, it represented Adam's affections for her. Now, it

was more. She must now determine if she will continue to spite Adam or not.

Hair now represents her willingness to fulfill her God-given purpose - - she

was made for Adam. Hair is a symbol of her willingness to fulfill her

creational-purpose. Her hair represents her willingness to respect the order of

God's authority. What will she do? Reader, is there a command of God

anywhere in all just written? No, no command of God for respect to God's

order of authority by symbols is seen in this story, nor was it seen stated

anywhere in the Beginning scriptures. Still, the principles shown are familiar

to Christians. The story reflects God's ways in regard to the showing of

respect to God's order of authority by symbols, seen in 1Co11.2-16, even

when without a command of God being seen given thereto in the Beginning.

That no command for 'respect for God's order of authority by symbols' is

seen is a mystery which must be discovered. And it must be discovered how

only a realistic story of A&E can show principles of God that haven't been

commanded. Principles of God are revealed by responses to their instincts.
