Obviously the people in that time and place had a cultural understanding that associated 120 people in the upper room staggering out speaking in another tongue with it being caused with new wine.


If new wine does not intoxicate, and it was assumed that they were drunk, how come they weren't accused of being under the influence of mature wine or even strong drink?


I mean unless there was just a group of Rechabites happening to be passing by as they emerged and in their ignorance and inexperience they called it the wrong term.

I do not believe Jesus as his first miracle was to turn water into alcoholic wine.

When we speak of “new wine”, what are we referring to? I hope everyone here will say the Holy Ghost, and if you did then your correct. So, at the wedding feast, they drank all the wine that I believe was alcoholic. When Jesus turned the water into wine, they were astonished at the taste. It didn't taste anything like the previous drink they were enjoying. In my opinion that is symbolic of the Holy Ghost, its not giving us the “thumbs up” to enjoy alcoholic beverages.

When Paul said take a little wine for thy stomachs sake, it may have been alcoholic. And if thats your green light to enjoy grandpas cough medicine, well, your have more problems than just the “cough medicine”.

Jesus made alcoholic grape which is fermented. The whole story is about people not noticing lousy wine because of their intoxication. Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now." Bro, this is too plain to ignore. Jesus created an intoxicating beverage out of H2o. Trying to disprove this scripture verse to say otherwise would just be too sad for words.

If Jesus was God, and God cant be tempted by evil or use evil to tempt man...


1. Jesus made alcohol and since alcohol is inherently evil within itself Jesus can't be God and if thats the case and with His "sin" making Him ineligible to be the perfect sinless sacrifice it makes one wonder why the Devil even made an effort.


2. Jesus made grape juice and apparently everyone else was just really confused and Jesus just let them THINK it was really alcohol...but thatd smack a bit of subterfuge and dishonestly and you know how Jesus feels about slippery slopes.

3. You're wresting scripture to say something it doesnt and man is just as accountable for his actions despite whatever substance he uses and whatever he does comes from his own internal evil and darkness and not from a substance that has no will of it own nor intent.
