Had a guitar player in one of my old rock bands that was a really nice guy. He was going through some hurts due to issues with his parents. He had a "breakdown" and went to a psychiatrist for help. Long story short, that doctor messed him up. After that "help" it took him a while to get back to his friendly former self.
I don't see how you keep saying when Jesus fails they should be sent to some real help. How many doctors fail these vets? Even our own VA system has failed our vets. So, why do you keep stumping for these doctors as if they are a 100% cure?

I've answered that several times. My issues don't include me getting shot.

Why don't one of you preachers with Holy Ghost power fly into Aquila's home town and pray over him, demonstrate the gooods.

Jesus had "the goods," but that wasn't how He operated. Instead, His "goods" wasn't demonstrated where there was unbelief (see Matthew 13:58).

I already answered it and you even responded to it.

Aquila, I'm under no restraint by law to "MAKE" anyone seek a Voodoo doctor to shrink their heads. You want to know who were the first enemies of Psychiatry? Medical community, they wanted to see some biological objective science for psychiatry's crackpot treatments. You have a broken leg? I can see a broken leg. You have a cut open wound? I can see a cut open wound. You have physical blindness, we can see that, you are near sighted we can determine that as well. You have stomach cancer, like I once had. You can find through testing where the cancer is located. You have brain damage we can actually see and determine when it occurred. Head injuries, or birth defects. You are overly angry, short temper, you cry easily, sensitive, depressed, mood swings, just behavioral thoughts and feelings. Psychologist are unable to prescribe you medication, because they don't go to medical school. They listen to you, they watch the clock, and they look at the DSM. You want to call them professionals? But the elder of the Church is just some jackleg jellybean? Let me save you some time and effort of spouting the nonsense of a preacher getting in trouble. You and Al have no case, preachers, are religious leadership. They aren't police, they aren't Voodoo doctors, and they aren't surgeons. If a grown adult has cancer and refuses Western Medicine thn that is on them. If I am dying in front of group of people and someone calls me an ambulance and I refuse treatment. They can leave me to die.
Our individual freedoms and religious freedoms are still here, and "scare tactics" are just that.

Any info on this? Or is this just another "sermon illustration"?
