Tell us, for the third time now, must a person *repent* to be saved, yes or no:__________?

And, all I did was post a biblical passage affirming water baptisms role in salvation. You are so busy frantically pacing up & down (because it counters your soteriology) that you have yet to understand that I am simply allowing the text to define itself & feel no need to improve upon God's Word.

It's quite liberating...Ought to try it sometime !
Let's see, you posted a scripture about baptism saving but you don't want to face it, choosing instead of demanding yes or no answers in order to take the focus from your total failure to address the scripture you yourself posted. Evasion, evasion, evasion.

Does baptism save? Yes or no______________?

Not going to answer? Of course not....I'm not really surprised.

Dunno about baptists but I know of Evangelicals that says repentance is just a response to being saved

Thought you didn't believe in adding any "work" to Calvary....You ol' "legalist" you !

Thank God for true biblical salvation via John 3.5, Acts 2.38 & 22.16!
So, baptism saves? Remember the scripture you posted that you're wanting to run away from?

Interesting. Wish someone who believed that would take the time to explain it to me.

Be careful not to "twist" it until it doesn't mean what it says !

Sad....You would think folks would be running to the baptismal tank...not draining the water & effectually ripping pages out of the Bible!

Eternity is serious business.

I'm waiting on the fella who posted it to answer it though. I doubt that's going to happen, to be honest. As I said earlier, I've never met anyone who believes that baptism saves us.
For the record RP did not say what that scripture is saying. So in a way you are admitting to you this verse is saying baptism saves

Yes, there is certainly a sense in which baptism saves....Just like the Bible says! See how easy that was? It is not the ONLY means of salvation.

One has to repent & be water & Spirit baptized in Jesus' name to be saved. Ummm, that's what the Bible says!

Does baptism save? Yes or no______________?

Already answered this above.

Now, does a person have to repent to be saved? Yes or No:_____________?

Just can't answer it can ya'?

Not going to answer? Of course not....I'm not really surprised.

Umm, I'm the one who posted the verses, so how in the world you could surmise I would dodge the very passage I presented is as mind-boggling as how you can claim the "Trinity" is actually "biblical" ??

Now, purty please tell us if one has to *repent* to be saved:___________?

I mean, this is only the fourth time I've asked! LOL. Don't blame ya'....I'd dodge it too!

Thank you!

He has indirectly acknowledged the common-sense understanding of the passage several times now.

LOL.....Yea', I post it in rebutting your *easy believisms* & "run away" from it!

Yea' man .

This from the man who has offered little to no textual interaction thus far, but sure knows how to put smoke in a mirror !

Now, let's try it again: Does a person have to repent to be saved:____________?

Hear that music in the background....LOL?
