These may help some to make the decision. It definitely makes the atmosphere conducive for many (not all) to make that decision. The Pentecostal altar can serve as a reference point in the heat of the battle.

But the battle and the victory happens away from the Pentecostal altar.
Amen.

The "Pentecostal altar" is unbiblical. You'll not find one in the NT.

Re: Common Myths about Gay Christians

I struggled with an issue for years, constantly going to the altar on Sundays and begging for forgiveness and strength to beatthis issue. Then I'd fail again a day or two later.

Finally a few years ago I was praying about it again at the altar and felt like God had tuned me out. I pressed on in prayer and felt liek GOd told me He would no deal with me there in that altar. It was too easy to pray about it tehre and ask for the victory when everyone around me was praying. If I really wanted to win, then pray about it in secret, at home, where I had no crowd to draw from or peole to push me. I have looked at the altar differently ever since.

Thank you. I'm just glad you could decipher it. My typing skills are horrendous. Good night look at all those misspelled/typed words. LOL.
