I'm not saying that. I'm just saying I don't believe that people have agenda's here to change others, but I know you think they do, so we will agree to disagree.
If we are not trying to "change" others, why do we even debate?
Isn't the purpose of debate to persuade?
Look, I am not slamming Daniel, he is an unbelievable communicator. I would want him on my side in any debate. This forum would be much less fun without him.
Are we actually saying that the friendships and discussions we have here don't influence us at all?
The friendships are based on mutual respect and the Holy Ghost within, not whether or not we belong to a certain denomination, or hold to a specific set of dress standards.
I have met many Godly people who I accept as they are and they do the same with me. These range from the ultra-conservative to the ultra liberal and all in between.
The influence they have on me is limited by my own relationship to God and personal belief system.
There have been many things here that I'm glad so many are reading - - some eyes DO need to be opened.
There are some things here that I'm ashamed that many have read, but just like we said way back on NFCF - - it's like the church fellowship hall chit chat. Some things are good, some things would be better left unsaid, but in the end we all enjoy the chili dogs and laugh and have a good time!

That' easy - because we want to be right.
