Do you really understand the meaning of modesty?

• 2: arising from or characteristic of a modest nature

btw...the word modest comes from the Latin word modestus which means: moderate...avoiding extremes of behavior or expression.

Nothing has changed for me. I still dress modest according to my culture around me. Even on the golf course!

It is not about conviction as much as its about peer pressure and wanting to belong and be apart and be accepted.....by those I went to church with...I kept the standards for a long time after I left and ya know it made no difference to anyone I had gone to church with, because I no longer went to that church I was no longer accepted or wanted...or saved to them, as I am not to you because I am not holy enough in the way I look...but you can look into my eyes and my heart and you can see just how truly in love with God I am.

Maybe one day you will see that as you move through life things change and as we grow in our walk with God we change too...I am still very much a Christian, I just don't dress like someone from the UPC.....I know you do not understand I just pray for you that one day you will see the whole truth of what Jesus did for us....it is sooooo awesome I can not get over how wonderful and beautiful it is....I love God with all of my heart and He loves me the same no matter what!
