First, I made 5 cakes and then made 3 batches of no bake cookies for a bake sale that they young people are having tomorrow to raise money for Youth
Congress.

Then I left here and went to finish cleaning a house that I do.

Then left there ran back home and loaded up the baked goods and went to town for a meeting at Walmart to set up a date to set up a booth (Hawaiian Shaved Ice) for a couple of weekends to help the kids raise money for YC again.

Then I had to take my swimming pool pump in to be looked at and make sure it still works and then had to take a flier to our youth leader's wife.

So my sweet hubby took me out to Brookville Hotel for fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, creamed corn, coleslaw, sweet pickles, peaches, cottage cheese, rolls and ice cream.

Then we went and picked up a car that we bought for $250.00. It is a Chevy Citation. It will be much cheaper on gas thanj my expedition.

Just a short synoposis of what my week has been like. And BTW, my boys are at grandma's, so my week would have been much busier had they been here.

I'm glad they are coming home tomorrow, but I'm afraid that after they've been here for 30 minutes or so....I'll be ready to send them back!!!!
And here is a short review of your post.. LOL!

Can you bake some no bake cookies and offer them for sale on this forum? I think they would ship OK.

Shaved Ice? You folks are VERY Pentecostal are'nt you?

Was there a Doggie bag from the hotel restraunt or were the kids with you two?

A $250.00 car?? That is only a weeks worth of gas in the Show Me State!! I will take two of them. Can I choose the color?

Your expedition ought to bring more than 250.00 - the steel price is up this week.

Are you traveling with the young kids? Where is YC at this time?

I'm sitting here chuckling, Theresa. I'm so glad you liked the sausage, potato, green bean dish. Alot of times, I add butter like that, too, even tho I know it's probably not healthy at all. Oh but it makes so much difference!!! And you're right - it's REAL butter or forget it!!

I have an all-day meeting tomorrow that I have to take food to. I made 3 loaves of beer bread and a double recipe of Esther's Red Lobster biscuits. Mmmmmm. Then I was supposed to bring 3 quarts of strawberries, cleaned and ready to mix into the fruit salad. But when I got to Kroger, the strawberries were $2.99 a quart!! And they were already beginning to rot. So no way!! I ended up buying some bags of frozen fruits - blueberries, raspberries and one other. It'll have to do.
