Re: PRAY for PO's Daughter and Grandson

P.O. - He is precious! Thank you for the posting the pictures! He is so cute! So thankful that God has touched him and is continuing the healing in his little body! Looking forward to the post where you tell us that he doesn't have the monitor any longer!

As far as posting more pictures.... H-m-m-m-m-m

Tell her..... J/K

Seriously, in a lot of ways I can understand her reluctance in having them posted on the internet - even though you have maintained your family's anonymity. There is a certain qualm with losing the privacy. Once they are on any website - they are out there.... I guess this is something that the two of you will have to work out. Wouldn't want to cause any problems and I personally feel it best to honor the parents' wishes - although that will make me sad not to see his progress.

Thank you, Sweet Pea! He has his wellness check up this morning. She is still concerned about his Bilirubin count. Hoping she gets a good report today.

I do understand her reluctance as well. I never post my correct birthdate or a profile picture on-line. If someone has your birthdate, from what I understand, that is an easy avenue to identity theft. There are many measures of protection and this is one of them:

Quote:
Never put personal information on your profile at MySpace, Facebook, etc. http://www.youridentitysafe.com/prevent-identity-theft

Social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn are a great way to keep in contact with friends and update professional associates. Unfortunately they also offer cyber criminals another way to gather information about you. To protect yourself while using these social networking sites:

* Make sure your profile pages are only accessible to people you trust and not to the general public by customizing the security settings
* Never publish personal or sensitive information such as your birthday, drivers license number, tax file number or bank account details
* Don’t publish contact details such as your home address or phone number
* Use a different email address if you want to publish this online

That is something I never do. For the most part, I will respect her wishes, BUT, I will end this thread with a picture of this "bundle of joy" WITHOUT his monitor. I have too! It's not like he's grown and I posted all information concerning him.

You could make us and her both happy - - post the pics for a couple days, then take them down.

Good idea!!! I ended up transferring and then deleting, from my Photobucket account, the pictures from my Christmas present thread. So, that's an idea. Works for me!

Re: PRAY for PO's Daughter and Grandson

His wellness checkup went VERY well yesterday. The doctor said that a breast-fed baby will be more yellow and it's nothing to worry about. He is also saying that he is going to, probably, be able to go off of the monitor in two weeks instead of two months!!! He isn't gaining much weight and she will have to add a supplement to her milk, in a bottle, twice a day.

Taken yesterday! He has my daughter's lips. LOL!

Yes, it was a wild ride for sure! He is so loud! Every time we talk on the phone he is making noise. I asked my daughter if he was always that loud. She said, "YES! and ALL night when he's sleeping too!" LOL!
