LOL!
So, are you saying you are so smart you wouldn't HAVE to watch them or you are just sorry for me because I have to??
It is kind of painful, but part of me is enjoying the challenge. I had both algebra and chemistry in high school and I passed both (barely) but I really don't have a clue about them!! I am oozing my way towards enrollment in a nursing program unless I change my mind somewhere along the way. I am getting more and more serious about it though. I have three classes under my belt now.

I seriously hate math. I am remembering why. There are so many rules and terms to memorize!! But, this is something I want to conquer!!!! It's taking a lot of discipline to sit there and watch this stuff!! Don't tempt me with a movie!!

I did obtain a very healthy respect for Math when I taught it in our homeschool. It is a science. And unlike Science, the concepts never change. Once you get down the rules, nothing changes - it all works together. I think that was the neatest thing I saw.
Of course, we did the Algebra on video. I could never have taught that properly. VideoText Interactive - excellent course. The writers are the teachers, actual chalkboard demonstrations, and you have a 1-800 for the student to call, any time, with a question. It's a no miss situation. Can't recommend it enough.

My daughter did Geometry through the ACE curriculum and says it's her weakest math subject. Of course, we did have the videos, but since those idiots who sued us broke into the church building that the videos were in and the judge decided no one was allowed in until the lawsuit was completed, my daughter was not allowed use of the videos at all.

Wow, that's crazy to hinder her education!!!!!
Well, hope you have a good day. I've been sitting here way too long today. Guess I'll do an ear candle treatment - that's always fun. I love fire, that's probably why I like them.

My husband really likes math because "there's always a correct answer." My son & younger daughter really like math as well. My older daughter does very well in it, but doesn't "like" it. And I enjoy Algebra, but not Geometry.
Just FYI. LOL!

Re: I'm Buying a House!!!
If ya want to talk about math, how about discussing what percentage of my mortgage you would like to contribute to?
