I have no idea why celebrating the birth of Jesus is a sin. Do you guys celebrate Easter? I am sure if you research hard enough you can find a pagon gods birthday or some silly something on everyday of the year, The fact is this, we celebrate Christmas with a tree, decorations the whole nine yards including a huge family gathering. Remember God made a family before he made a church. During our celebration we dont bow before the tree or sing happy birthday to some pagon god. I wonder how many people will be lost b/c of this kinda warped thinking. I know you guys who are against a tree believe in the apostolic doctrine of salvation. But everything is not a sin. I know people who are scared do death of coming back to church b/c of an obese gluttonist preacher beat them over the head about something that cannot be poved in the Bible as a sin.

When I was UCon I quit celebrating christmas. Though, the church that I am from partakes of that celebration.
Today, I will eat a huge meal... and allow people to give me gifts. It's all about me!

At least I am speaking truth. Someone on here maybe seeking and trust me, some are. I want the truth presented to someone. And, regardless of my past, which is destroyed beyond measure, i choose to speak what the Lord has said.

I will speak, and will not be silenced when it comes to the profaning of the name of my Lord. Seekers need to knwo the truth, not some watered down mix of paganism and Christianity.

So, in other words, you have left some standards of holiness, and have chosent o partake in the paganism of this holy day, though the Word commands against such?

Do you celebrate paganism mixed with Christianity? Do not try to go into dietary laws. God has commanded us not to mix holiness with paganism, and this we must do.

I eat food everyday! I'm not going to fast on Dec. 25th because it will offend you if I eat! Christmas is NOT about Jesus..and I don't pretend that it is.
