Tell me...realistically, what will the Government do to police and punish abortion and the women who procure them?
The Government is incapable of addressing this issue. It's too complex. To say that we support only allowing it to preserve the life or health of the mother sounds good....but that means the Government has the power to decide what constitutes a life or health threatening condition. Think of it like this....it's your wife on the table....the doctors are divided over if it is advisable to have an abortion. Who's best capable of making the decision...you and your wife...or the Government?
I tell you what offends me. Your willingness to use the "its too complex" argument about abortion, but in the same breath you would support government control of healthcare in general.

Those who use abortion wrongfully will live with the guilt and shame and answer to God. Again, the Government isn't capable of addressing this properly.

it is offensive to me that someone would discount the reality that the vast majority of abortions are for birth control and suggesting that over turning Roe equates to jack booted government agents siezing a woman and forcing her to die in child birth.
i am quite comfortable standing by my statment. if you are pro-choice you support abortion. That is EXACTLY what I said. if it offends you, I suggest you re-evaluate your postion. Again, if you dont get the dicotomy of your position, that is your issue. not mine.
I'm not "Pro-Abortion". I'm "Pro-Choice" meaning the Government cannot be trusted with regulating this issue. It's incapable of addressing this issue.

Abortion, is the taking of an innocent life. In my book it is murder, and those who think women should be allowed to kill their children are complicit.
Shooting school kids with a gun is murder. Those who get the guns do so as part of their "gun rights". Would it be far to say that those who support gun rights are complicit in school shootings?

In all honesty...if we had government health insurance the government would be in a better position to regulate abortion. Consider Ireland.

A big mistake is made here. You can own and use a gun and not do anything immoral. You cannot perform an abortion and not do something immoral.
