Is it common to have weddings on Sundays in the south? That doesn't happen very often here, that's why I'm asking
Weddings at Wedding Chapels, particularly, are happening more on Sundays than in the past. The reason is that the chapels discount the price on Sundays. Friday night and Saturday limits the chapels to the number of events they can have so to increase the number of weddings they can do in a weekend they are going to a Sunday schedule. Simply an opportunity to do more business. Of course, I guess, as brides have Sunday weddings at chapels other brides then start considering have Sunday weddings at churches as well.
That's what's happening in the South.

I guess there's no rule that says you can't, but I don't know of anyone who has had a wedding on Sunday.

For those of you that remember Sister Truth Seeker, please remember her in prayer.
She brought her mother into her home 12 days ago and was caring for her because she was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away this morning. I think that was quicker than anyone was expecting.
It was a difficult time for STS, who along with her sister and husband did everything they could to make their mother comfortable.
