Good point. I believe it's true.

I have NOT taught that it would be dishonest with the Bible. I do it just like I said I do it. It has worked for me for 40 years. Again as far as I know I have never lost one man over facial hair. That should say something.

Why does this preach?

A woman shall not wear men’s clothing, neither shall a man put on women’s clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh your God. Duet. 22:5

But this don't?

“‘You shall not cut the hair on the sides of your heads, neither shall you clip off the edge of your beard. Lev. 19:27

Again my friend if you had a beard this would apply BUT the main difference Deut. 22:5 is an abomination unto the Lord this is not.

He should have paid him for the revival and his plane ticket, and blamed himself for not asking before the evangelist traveled all that way. Then he could hire someone else.

That's why it could very well be a sin to preach against facial hair. Much more of a sin than the supposed "rebellion" of wearing one.

6 I gave My back to those who struck Me,
And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard;
I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.

Plucked his beard cause he was in rebellion (& rebuking the pharisees)and looked like the rest of the world.

New improved church remix song: "Jesus you aren't welcome here...Jesus you aren't welcome here...when your people praise you, you'd said you draw near, but Jesus you aren't welcome here.."
