I haven't seen this done in any of the apostolic churches in my area, and I'm not familiar at all with the "tithe confession". When I googled "tithe confession", the resulting pages didn't help. Some non-apostolic churches include a plea (bordering on a demand) for blessings - which didn't sit well with me.
For the apostolic, what it the "tithe confession"?

I think that might be too big of an umbrella statement. Even in this thread there are many different views on why one should/should not tithe, not every one who supports tithing does so to obtain a blessing. Some actually tithe to simply honor God for what He has already done.
Romans 14:5b Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
Re: Tithing, Mandate for the New Testament Church?
Does anyone hear the old "you are cursed with a curse" if you don't tithe your money? Or does it seem to be more of a voluntary thing that is being taught now?
