I then asked them, in all honesty, if they planned to go ahead shooting them and take their chances...again, an affirmative answer.

My next question was, "Are you prepared to accept the consequences like men and not whine if you get nailed?"

They assured me that they were.

You cannot tell me that this was wrong! He knew they were going to do it anyway (they told them they were), so having this serious conversation with them was teaching them to be responsible for their actions!

I'm sure if they were caught and they got in trouble that CS would be the first to say, I told you so.

Nope, just his arms to his elbows, well, I guess in some places that makes him liberal or maybe backslidden.

In regards to the last story, the Pastor asked us to never talk about the incident. I never have. This is the very first time that I have ever spoke of it, honoring his request as have the other young people, some of whom are now dead. As far as I know, this story has never been related in public. After all this time, I feel that I can now speak of this without ever calling this great man of God's name...nor shall I ever.

Every time you are backed in a corner with the good words of Jesus, you come out swinging the sarcastic "I guess your just more righteous than me" bat. Really CS, everything on AFF isn't about you, OK?

Its obvious that you don't see this place as a place for discussion of principles or concepts, with you CS, It always degrades into some personal thing where people more liberal than you are compromisers and those "more spiritual" are holier than though or falsely pious. Do you really think everybody that disagrees with you has some hidden agenda? After all why would anyone see anything different than you right? Please. It might help if just once in while you didn't have such a high opinion of your opinion.

For what its worth please accept my apology, I won't dare question your great wisdom or knowledge on AFF again. I got the message lound and clear when you posted your story about leaving the bar after church the other night. And I sure don't want a tire iron up side my head.
Like Alice said, this gets curiouser and curiouser.

You got the message from a humorous post about something that happened quite some time back in an Applebee's parking lot? I guess you don't eat at any restaurants that serve liquor, or shop at grocery stores, or get gas at convenience stores where they serve beer. Well, my hat is off.

Brother, there was no message.

I guess if you saw it that way, maybe we are to assume that you were sending messages with your talk of switchblades and automatic weapons?

I think you may be taking all this way more seriously than I do.

You know, we might accidentally even like each other if we met in person, and since for all I know, you might be an elder, I am going to just avoid conflict with you.

This medium isn't the best at communicating the more subtle nuances that face-to-face communication can.

I apologize for my offensive behavior and too flippant attitude.

I accept your admonition, and won't fuss with you any more.
