I have taught and preached from every passage you mentioned in the last twelve months.
How about this, do you preach it too ?This is the only way a person can live the life.The preachers I hear say you can't think holy.
Our thoughts,1 Cor.13:4: Charity (perfected Love)suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,5: Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
2 Cor.10:3: For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:4: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds5: Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Philp.4:8: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.9: Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Phip.2:5: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Eph.4:21: If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:22: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;23: And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24: And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness

JoelL,
I don't know who you have been listening to, but I have heard teaching on keeping out thought life pure my whole life.
I have never once heard an Apostolic preacher say you can't think holy, or that we all sin a little every day.
By far the contrary.
You did say, though, that you don't go to church unless you are preaching, since you are far advanced beyond where they are, and you get nothing out of it.
So how do you know what all is being taught while you are staying home?
There might be more being preached than you know about.

It's hard to know when you aren't there.
I think this is taught in most Christian churches ... no matter what the denomination ....
H1, I wrote my post to whomever wanted to read/listen. And, believe me, if I can apply it to MY life, I have no doubt that ANYONE can! I was the most "unfixable" person I know! You know where I was a year ago!! You know where I was six months ago! I was destroying my life. I was convinced that God was able to help people, but that I was broken beyond repair for even Him. I also thought that the day would never come where I could fully trust Jesus. I didn't think it was possible - really.
I spoke the words I was supposed to speak, saying that I believed Jesus could help me; however, in my heart, I just couldn't see how. Like I said, it was head-knowledge, not heart-knowledge. Then one day I realized that I was on the other side! I felt like I had finally crossed over a raging river - I'm no longer IN the river, being swept away, hitting my head, being knocked around, bleeding, wounded... I'm OUT! And it's all BEHIND me... I'm not facing it anymore, I'm facing JESUS! It's so awesome! HE'S so awesome!
Hang in there, H1. As I said, if it can happen for ME, it can happen for ANYONE! I am finally a believer in that.
Love ya!
Thank you for this. You are awesome.
