No, I think they have the same HG that I have.

Do I think I have a greater understanding of truth with Jesus name baptism and the Oneness of God? yes I do, but I also am pretty sure I don't know it all. [/QUOTE] None of us should take a stance that supports the thinking that we've got GOD all figured out!!!

But God moves through his church in a way that I can never experience alone.
Take Titus2Woman's example. Search the scriptures for yourself! But yes, we must fellowship other believers.

My heart is breaking, I don't want to be lost either.
Seek God with all your heart about this, and as Titus2Woman has spoken, there is a place for you, but maybe it's not at that church! Where is the love? A true church following Jesus will have LOVE expressed as one of their fruits! Seek, and ye shall find.... l'll be praying for ya!!!

As a Sabbath Apostolic I can testify that I call the Sabbath a delight, and Holy of the Lord. and I honor God by keeping the day he rested.

I am not ashamed of the Sabbath for I do find it a delight
We were discussing the 10 commandments in Exodus. If we are not then I will point out that the Sabbath was called a perpetual covenant for Israel not gentiles

Exo 31:16 Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever.
Exo 31:17 It is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel that in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.'"
Next as mentioned before the Sabbath was a day we ceased from work, not a day to have church on

ISBE: The Fourth Commandment enjoins upon Israel the observance of the 7th day of the week as a holy day on which no work shall be done by man or beast. Children and servants are to desist from all work, and even the stranger within the gates is required to keep the day holy.

In fact under the law this "law" is elaborated on. You can't cook either, no work whatsoever. You can't even go out and gather wood. So how many of you Sabbatarians just lie around all day doing nothing? Just curious..you don't drive to church?

Further evidence this was meant for Israel
Deu 5:12 "'Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the LORD your God commanded you.
Deu 5:13 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
Deu 5:14 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant, or your ox or your donkey or any of your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
Deu 5:15 You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the LORD your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.

Funny, not one verse. No gospel preaching/teaching. Just pontifications.

During the week I work full time in a hospital. On both ends of my day shift I milk cows and goats, tend our livestock's medical needs with shots, hoof trims, etc., process the milk, tend the gardens, pick produce, make cheese, can, freeze and otherwise preserve food, make jams and jellies, cook regular meals, bake bread, clean, wash, iron. Visit the sick, take meals to those who can not cook for themselves... well I could go on but you get the picture.

My husband works second shift 10X4 Tuesday-Friday. He also feeds all the farm animals, does hay, picks up feed, tills, plants, weeds and tends a huge garden. Provides restraint for any animals that I need to work on... well... his schedule makes mine look tame.

For us the Sabbath looks like this. I get off work early on Friday and come straight home so that I can make our meals for Saturday, usually cold meats (homegrown, we don't eat store food) and cheeses and a porridge for breakfast that only has to be warmed up. I put everything in the bread maker and set the timer so we will have a fresh crusty loaf of warm bread and sometimes start a soup or stew in the crock pot. My husband has already filled all the animals feeders with enough to take them through the next 24 hours. I get the milking done before dark. Then chores are over.

Saturday we get up and turn on some worship music, get a cup of coffee or tea and go sit on the porch for prayer time. we have family devotions bible reading, talk about our previous week and what the Lord is doing in our family, on our jobs, in our church and in our community. We plan an act of service for the next week, we write the devotional for the church bulletin. During the day we might or might not listen to music, we do use our computers but only for 'fun' and do not do business, return business emails, pay bills, etc. Sometimes we play a board game or horse shoes out side or go for a nature walk in the woods behind the house and contemplate God in nature.

Later in the day family comes by and we visit. Sometimes we go to see them. We repeat most of what we did as a couple that morning with the wider group of our kin. Sometimes friends come by and are included although we do not share that we are Sabbath keeping with those who might be upset by it or not understand it.

It ends for us just after sun down on Saturday with our milking the cows who are about an hour overdue and not happy about it (cows are creatures of habit). We fill feeders and water tanks and do whatever other chores we need to catch up. Come in and get ready for church on Sunday.

Overall it is the best day of the week

Notice... on the first day of the week when the church gathered to break bread (Lord's Supper), Paul preached to them until midnight. What many forget is that they counted their day as beginning at sundown. If Paul preached until midnight on the first day of the week... what day on our calendar did they meet??? Saturday night. Because Sundown Saturday night would begin the first day of the week. Then Paul preached until midnight.

If they met on Sunday night by our calendar... the text would say they met on the SECOND day of the week.

Excellent Saturday worship text!

Praise God!
So the sabbath was over at sundown and he wasn"t preaching on the sabbath ,is that what you are saying?

In the beginning, before the Law of Moses, God "sanctified" the seventh day. That means He set it apart for sacred use. In the Fourth Commandment, God commanded that we remember the Sabbath that it might be kept "holy", apart for sacred use. That means it's a time to rest from the labors of life and focus on worship and fellowship.

In Revelation 1:10, John writes that he was in the Spirit "on the Lord's day". Now, the only day IN THE BIBLE set side as belonging to the Lord is the Sabbath. So it stands to reason that this was the Sabbath. And if Christians are not to honor a day as Holy...Why did John indicate that it was a day assigned to the Lord???

What are it's delights? I don't see any mention of a Delight in this verse
Worship, fellowship, honoring God's Word and Law is a delight, we see this throughout the Bible.

My church has gatherings on Saturdays at 6pm...Sundays at 9am and again at 11am. I'm delighted to tell you that after this post...I'm heading into the sanctuary to worship.

God bless.

You're very sure that trinitarians are going to hell but I'm not sure if you're bothered concerning infants, children, men and women dying because of the teaching and preaching of those 'apostolic ministers' who promote such a thing.

No it means to set that day apart as a day of rest

Bro., the meaning of "sanctify" is as follows:
1 : to set apart to a sacred purpose or to religious use : consecrate 2 : to free from sin : to free from sin : puri 3 a : to impart or impute sacredness, inviolability, or respect to b : to give moral or social sanction to 4 holiness or piety <observe the day of the sabbath, to sanctify it — Deuteronomy 5:12(Douay Version)>
All I'm saying is that from the beginning, God sanctified the seventh day.

If you don't believe in keeping the Ten Commandments, that's between you and Jesus.

Ultimately, we are to be one with Christ through the Spirit and seek to be like Him. Jesus kept the Sabbath. Why not emulate Christ? Lastly, Jesus said:
Matthew 5:18-19
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
It's not obeying to be saved...it's being like Christ, and being obedient.
