Anita Perry

Great article! My husband will really love this - "She leaned toward me, ready to listen and when I asked whether she believed real chili had beans, she grinned and said, “absolutely not, but I do put a little sugar in my grits." He totally believes that beans do not belong in chili in Texas. Someone told him, "Well, they have Wolf Brand chili in the grocery store with beans. Someone in Texas is eating it." He replied, "That's for the snowbirds." Hahahahahahaha! Viva la Anita Perry!

Re: Why I'm Against Perry

Posting the things that Fox News and the GOP Establishment refuse to show you or tell you about Gov. Perry.

Quote:
Rick Perry Aides Israel to Stop Freedom Flotilla II

Texas Governor Rick Perry - and current GOP Presidential candidate - used his influence recently to help an Israeli law firm stop the onset of another left wing activist attack on that country via flotilla. Since some of the prominent activists are American - such as Code Pink's Medea Benjamin - the Neutrality Act was being violated.

The mission of the far left activists never came to fruition. Beating them at their own game, Israel succeeded through the legal system. Fighting smart. Texans can be proud of Governor Perry's part in the action.

There is still a lot I like about Perry. He still has a long way to go to prove he has the chops to run the race in front of him and to actually DEBATE...

Re: Why I'm Against Perry

Uproot and Overhaul Washington

Summary:
http://www.rickperry.org/content/upl...ve_Summary.pdf

Text of Gov. Perry’s Uproot and Overhaul Washington Speech in Bettendorf, Iowa

The issue this election is not whether Washington is broken, but how we go about fixing it. There are two approaches, and even my own party is split.

There are some who want to tinker with the status quo. They want to work within the current system to achieve marginal change. Then there are those who believe, as I do, that Washington is too broken to be fixed by tinkering on the margins.

We should apply the wisdom of Solomon to Washington. Ecclesiastes, Chapter 3, says, “there is a time to plant and a time to uproot, there is a time to tear down and a time to build.”

He was the bomb in this last foreign policy debate. Did you get a chance to listen to it? He is getting better. I love what George Will had to say this past Sunday on THIS WEEK:

From George Will:

Quote:
“[H]is poll numbers are down. He had a steep climb before Wednesday night. The climb got steeper,” Will said, referring to Perry’s much-lampooned brain freeze at the recent CNBC GOP primary debate. “But I would remind you that in in the 2008 campaign, a presidential candidate gave a speech in Oregon in which he said, ‘I visited all 57 states and have 1 more to go.’ That man is in the White House.”
