The website does not give that much info about the fact that they are a church, the do a great marketing job of their village. They built the Bush's home on their Crawford ranch, wonderful craftsmanship. The leadership has UPC roots and it is obvious that it would require some very strong rules to hold a group like this together. On the surface it is a very placid place to live in the middle of a strung out world, but according to some ex-residents the leadership is extremely controlling. It is similar to a Mennonite village, however they capitalize on marketing the village and they do that extremely well.
