The worst I have ever heard about it was when a preacher said that the reason you may be financially struggling could be that your ascendants did not pay tithe, or that you forgot to pay tithe of something in the past (e.g. a gift); so you had to examine and see where you needed to repent.

Do you believe God can put it on your heart to give money to your church, pastor, family in the church?
