I really thought going in Palin had too much to do. She had to be great and she had to distroy Biden. Or Biden had to distroy himself.
She was great but neither she nor Biden distroyed Biden.
in retrospect, I now think the expectation on how she would do was so very low coming out of the Couric interview, that all she had to do was look like she belonged on the stage with him.
She did that perfectly fine.
What Palin absolutly had to do was stop the bleeding for McCain and I think she did that very well.

I really, really, really loved when she remarked, in her closing comments:
"I like being able to answer these tough questions without the filter, even, of the mainstream media kind of telling viewers what they've just heard. I'd rather be able to just speak to the American people like we just did."
That was a "back at you" to Gibson and Couric!!! Good for her!!!
She does these things in such a lady like way! That's why the people like her.
I loved that!

If people think someone "like them" is in the White House that there is a chance to shake things up.
The only thing that bothered me about her was at first she had that chunk of hair that was on her eyelash and it was moving everytime she blinked. Finally, she took care of it and it wasn't distracting anymore - lol!
Only a woman would notice that. Thank God for women, we'd be in big trouble without them. Chunk of hair or no chunk of hair she was terrific!! We need someone fresh and uncomplicated in the Washington. If only she can stay that way.

Dear Bro. Light. Why are you so unhappy? I don't think you heard her at all. If you did you wasn't listening very closely. She said exactly what she should have said. Marriage must remain between male and female. Maybe you need to get under the spout where the glory comes out.
