I checked back on this thread in hopes that you would have also seen the offense that was perpetrated by your post; however, what I found to be written was nothing of the sort.

I would be very hesitant to remotely confess that I knew her father any better than his own daughter. If there were ever issues with her following the calling that God placed on her life to have brought her to the ministry she was involved in today, I would feel confident that it would have been addressed between the two of them and it would be none of my business!

I hope that you would step back for a minute and think of Sandra as your sister. Perhaps, once you were able to view her as your sister, you would come to the realization that you wouldn't want someone to hurt her by using her father's memory as a weapon against her.

Good day...
I can appreciate your words, and have no problem what so ever with what you have said above.

Sister Vicky has no problem speaking her mind, and me making the statement on how her father loved holiness and the United Pentecostal should not raise a problem for her. If it did I'm sorry. Did the Elder believe in Holiness? From what I read he did, and those who I have talked to have said he cared about the movement. Sister Song Bird said her father loved Africa, so I asked the obvious, and it was if he also loved holiness and the UPCI? Never would I expect no matter what Sister Vicky believes or how much she hangs out with non-Pentecostals would I think that she thought my asking the question to get such a response from her, or the rest of the group.

Did he love holiness? Did he honor the United Pentecostal? If these things are true then where's the problem? Does Sister Vicky ever have a problem making the statements that she has made over the years? Again, Sister V, has no problem blurting out her feelings, and if she was pained by what I said then I truly apologize.

Brother, I knew where you were coming from when you posted that question as I was sure that many did too. It has always proven best to think through what we post to an individual and take into account any circumstances that would bring up things that would come across as being insensitive. Though it was many years ago that I met you, which you probably have no idea who I am, I knew then you were a man of character.

I was very pleased to see that exhibited in your post above.

God bless you...

I read through this thread and the statements made to Sandra, I consider the source and who is posting the slams.
It just reinforces me that so many conservative people are so into their doctrine, feelings the human race have is not important.

this evan. guy needs to get a grip. is he a pastor, surely not, I hope. an evangel. God, no!

I am confused my father was a Charismatic before they had the name attached to it. He was a forerunner of that movement and became part of it when it grew. It would not insult me for someone to ask if my father was a Charismatic. He proudly confesses that is what he is. The same with Elder Yohe he confessed to be UPC so what is the deal? How would that slam anyone by stating what her father claimed to be?

Mrs.McD,

I will have to agree with you here. In most every divorce there is fault on both sides. I agree with Pianoman too that God has never condoned divorce [words of Christ taken right out of the book] so to tell the church or the world that their ministries just have gone to separate ways is anti-Christ. The woman is made to be the helpmeet of the man, not strike out on her own and be separate from him. They together should serve.

From the one many accuse of being a feminist [everyone entitled to make a mistake every now and then],

Judgment

Just remember - you WILL be judged with the same judgment you dish you - I sure hope you are ready for some HEAVY JUDGMENT!

Where on earth are the moderators on this board? Have you no standard of holiness at all to let this guy do what he is doing?
You let this guy go off continually like a loose cannon and don't do one thing about it. SHAME ON YOU! SHAME ON YOU MODERATORS!

He insults everything and everybody on here - is that APOSTOLIC? Does this guy represent the UPC or the APOSTOLIC movement? I know the answer is NO - but he sure thinks he does.
Well, his day is coming and God help him when it does.

You that call yourselves APOSTOLIC should stop this - SHAME ON YOU!
