Your family did an amazing job. You did an awesome job as a father looking out for your children. Your wife also stood her ground and it seemed like she was breaking through to Mr. Meeks. To bad she couldn't have had another week or two.

I think when ABC tried to make your family seem foolish at times, it was a poor attempt on their part and I bet most people saw right through it.

Even on TV your house shown through as a beautiful and loving home. I like when your daughter kissed you and you told her that you would take care of her. That's awesome to see parents reassure their children.

Anyways good job and may God continue to bless your family.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the feedback!

Hey ILG,

Hey Steve,

In this last week, I wrote a local Ex-Amish and told him I would help him if he needed any in "becoming English". (I haven't heard back yet though.) I also gave an Amish woman at the Farmer's Market an English New Testament with my name and address in it. Am I a-meddlin'??

I think thats all good ILG. There is a misconception among some outsiders that the Amish are all legalists who are not born again and reject the NT. This is simply not true.

I know your intent to help them and I think you can do it.

Thanks. I didn't say anything to the Amish woman except that I wanted her to have this (the NT). I know that sometimes if all the Bible reading is done in German it makes it hard to understand. I wanted her to have an English copy.

I do hope that kid contacts me. We'll see.

You will enjoy my testimony as shared at the Forum. I think it may be published on 90&9 in a few days.

I am posting this on this thread because I am trying to get some attention here. When I try to post a new thread, this is the message I get:

Quote:
Emma Bontrager, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
When I try to post, it says that I cannot post unless a moderator approves it first, so every time I post I have to wait.

My avatar has disappeared.

I have written to admin about this and am still cast into outer darkness.

I know it is a conspiracy. They are persecuting me because I wear a covering and they don't want the TRUTH to be preached on this forum!! They are OPPOSED to buggy driving, no electricity people. They do not want the TRUE conservatives to have a voice here.

Yes, in this world we will have trouble. This is my last post on this issue. After that, Emma will post once in a while on other issues, under this cloud of shame, doubt and conspiracy, feeling the despair that comes with being cast into a corner where there is no love, only a lonely feeling of someone who has been cast into outer darkness. Help.

(I will post one more post showing what I get when I post a post and then.....no more.)
