You've been missing from these forums seems like a long time.
I left FCF way back. I was on GP for those years (still am rarely), but got tired of that (and crossways with some "leanings" of the administrator/moderators), too. I only came here when someone called a group of UC men "clowns". I tried my best to not register, but, you know, the ol' flesh won that one. I 'spect I'll listen to that voice telling me to move on from here before long, too.

I never did that OGIA. Quit with that already.

I'm too lazy and uninterested to go back to where the "witchcraft" insinuations started, but they had to do with the accusation that this woman thought HER HAIR was responsible for the healing. That's when the "silly" and "juvenile" comments came from me.

Did anyone answer what the scripture means when it says "because of the angels?"

I still believe she felt her hair was giving her extra clout with God ........ hence the "veil of protection" statement as well as spreading it over her husband's feet.

That is very symbolic in my opinion.

Anyhow, I don't think there's much left to say on this. It's already been said every which way ....... not 'witch' way.

My confusion is how they came up with this magic hair stuff??? It is totally absurd and unBiblical. Someone is faith may lay hair on a child and yes the act of faith like those in the Bible could cause a miracle to occur. But it would be a rare thing and a simple act of faith not a Bibilical principle.

You'd probably do best to start another thread. JMO.

It's a mystery. Nobody seems to know for sure.

But the scripture says "a woman ought to have power on her head because of the angels" .... not "with" the angels. There's a difference.

I appreciate you saying this Bro. Epley.

The fact is when you read the woman's prayer as it was stated it's very obvious this woman views hair in a way not taught in scripture. It is NOT a veil of protection.

This is true...all of the issue with hair is about spiritual hierarchy and submission - it isn't about power with or to command the angels. Felicity you are right on!

Blessings, Rhoni
