Three? Maybe for his bod, but I went hunting this past weekend with temps only in the low 30's, and I had on a thermal suit designed for temps of 10 to -20, I had a handmade t-shirt with pockets on the chest and back designed for body warmers (and it worked!), then a battery-operated heated vest ($100 at Gander Mountain!) and a fleece top along with my coat. On my legs were the thermies and two pair of jeans, one of which was a pair of Columbia's that I picked up for $15 at Fleet Farm!!
On day two, I added a pair of coveralls with that.....LOL!
I was pretty toasty, most of the time. Oh, and I had three body warmers on (didn't need to turn on the vest though), and four hand warmers.
I think I put on about 50 pounds of clothing and gear!
