I interact with "Christians" on a daily basis. Many of them don't smile. Many are dour and sour. Most are NOT apostolics.

Nowhere does scripture say people have to go around with a smile on their face all day long. Some people are naturally happy, cheerful, bubbly and smiley. Others are more serious.

Do you think Jesus and the apostles went around smiling and being cheerful always? I don't.

Did she know you? Why did she have to make eye contact with you personally or smile? Maybe she had a rough day and just wanted her drug of choice?

  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

No she didn't know me, as far as I know, but she had to brush past me and I attempted to smile and speak to her. Maybe I'm strange, but I generally do look at and smile at people, Apostolic or otherwise, that I am passing closely.

my brother and mother(who does not get out much) went into a restuarant and experienced the same thing. my brother actually said "HI how are you all doing" ? and they just stared- would not speak at all.

they had that permanant sober frown on their faces. my brother came home mad about it. i said, don't let it get to you. we should be use to it by now- dealt with it for years. I know YOU know what i mean. It's really sad that we have to be like this. it makes no sense really

Well, thanks for that, I felt like I was being irrational for a minute. I really don't expect everyone to come running to greet me, but common kindness is something that I think Christians should exemplify, at the very least.

Dizzyde...I do too! But I notice a lot of people just don't look and smile. Maybe they are shy?

Caston can't answer but maybe Rkent can.
Maybe folks are not happy where they are at

just my 2 cents
