Oh, you don't EVEN want to know the conversation that took place between her and I when I called to tell her that her computer wouldn't boot up when I did the restart!!!
And I've love to follow your advice above, but it's all Greek to me. I'm more of a 'show me' kind of person, and any directions I follow have to be typed out as if a 5 yr old was asking.
Also sometimes windows just does not restart well after an install or even a windows update...believe it or not (go figure)...did you try to reboot again?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
Thanks for the link, but I've already been warned about downloading anything else on this computer!! LOL!
It's not a download - you upload your song & convert it online.

My daughter and I have new generic versions of IPod.....I downloaded songs for her but format errors are coming up on the WMA songs. I need to reformat them to MP3. How do I do that?
In addition, mine player is 4GB, yet I have only 130MB of free space. This is BRAND NEW! And I got it on Ebay, and the person selling them (who is reputable, but was having issues related to having too many orders at once) is no longer a member, so I'm unable to contact them.
I cannot figure out how to delete stuff off of there, as I have no idea what's on it that's taking up all my space. Help me out here, please.
1. Save file to your desktop.
2. Right click on the file
3. Click on Convert Audio Format
4. Follow the media instructions.
5. MP3 will be one of the options.
However...I don't know if you can convert an entire song with the trial version...some trials only allow you to convert clips, others allow you, say, 5 songs. If you have a lot of songs to convert, the program is only $19, so it might be a good deal. Otherwise...you'll just to download the trial version and see what it lets you do.
And it is a reputable program and site, by the way.

What program are you using though? The context window in Windows has the "Convert" command added by a third party program. I haven't seen where Windows Media player will add that. There's a program that you have installed and it is that program that HO is looking for.

When I do this it comes up as "Windows Audio Converter"

I ahve always done it this way...
Do you have XP Plus? That was a component offered in that distribution. The "Plus" stuff was discontinued for the rollout of the new Windows Homer Server (insert td-da! type music here). It's supposed to be released this fall. Wait a minute... it's fall. Oh well...
This appears to be the add-on pack that Nathan has. I just downloaded and installed it. No reboot required even though it added itself to my context menus- neat. Here's a screen shot:
I'd recommened this solution. After installing you access it by RIGHT clicking any audio file and doing what Nathan said. I like it.
How long did you let it run before you gave up? Sometimes after an install Windows takes a while

I have downloaded a lot of programs in my years of having a computer, and I've never had to wait for Windows to start up after a restart of the computer. I waited several minutes, then rebooted again, only to wait several more minutes. I did this a few times then started in safe mode and did a system restore. Windows popped right up after that.

Someone else suggested that same thing in a PM, but I don't have that option or anything close to it when I right click on the file.
