Actually, I'm sorry you're burned. The back of my neck is burned right now where I forgot sunscreen in Costa Rica, and it's very painful. |
It burned through your long hair????? Wow, that's a powerful Costa Rican sun!

I actually had an updo one day, which is difficult considering the length of my hair.

vinegar can help some to take the burn away.

I have tried to avoid wearing sunscreen, but it just doesn't work. Last week I didn't put on any sunscreen, but when I got home I felt a burning sensation all over my face. I was even so careful not to go out in direct sun light. I would say play it safe and supplement it by wearing sun protective clothing and using Aloe Vera cream.

believe it or not a cool bath with vinegar added. May make you smell like a pickle but so what. It works.
