Now if we had FCF still, we could bump the original thread when the incident occurred, but we do not. That is IF it's the same UPC preacher we discussed on FCF....And if it turns out to be a different preacher that went to jail, we'll, we've started something for nothing.
err on the side of caution.

- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

who was he?
There was one in the St Louis area, forgot his name - he got busted in a sting operation - something perverted is all I remember. They never followed up in the news here and told what happened. ((If that's who you mean))

History says that if you get accussed of something, your status in the UPC is pretty well done, so a prison sentence, I would imagine.

well, drug addicts can leave service, go on a binge, eventually come back to God....and once again be UPC. Can't they?

XX, once the Sunday School director of the UPCI at its headquarters was suspended him without pay and then went into retirement.
The court in St. Louis has decided the first two years of XXs retirement will include probation and he must pay a $1,000 fine.
