I mean...
Even if you are right, why aren't we seeing 3,000 saved at a time?? Why do we celebrate 3 like its 10,000 like in the Bible??? I mean... its sad...
and the worst part is our 3 is like 1/10 of a person (at best) in the Bible's time when you compare population and population density....

We all know that is not true - those days are over and done with and you know it. How are you seeing Revival? We can't hardly get an old fashioned Tent preacher to come here and draw anybody. It is a shame and a disgrace.

ummm....
in storyline Minnie is not sleeping with Goofy...
and there's a good chance that the person in the Minnie suit is the same gender as the person in the Goofy suit and the person in the Mickey suit... They don't put girls in the girls costumes all the time and boys in the boy costumes all the time as it doesn't matter who's inside....
and tent revivals wouldn't work as well nowadays... the world is a different place and to reach people now you need to realize that and come into this century...

It's all up to the pastor the evangelist really has no say in it. The pastor makes the schedule, everything concerning the nights of revival is totally up to the pastor. I would agree that there be some evangelists who are more into tourism, and sleeping in late than getting up early and working, but it's the pastor who makes the decision on what that evangelist is supposed to do.
If the pastor wants to drive around the town then the evangelist goes with the pastor.
It's the pastor's church family and the pastor's town. The evangelist is a visitor and must wait for the pastor's lead and what the pastor focus is during the revival. Both men should be waiting for God to move, but the evangelist is only a visitor and shouldn’t get ahead of the pastor and the church family he is visiting.

that's because you are getting an OLD FASHIONED TENT PREACHER...
I went to a concert with Superchic[k] & Skillet headlining with John Reuben, Decyfer Down, Eleventyseven, & Seventh Day Slumber as varying levels of opening acts...
before Superchic[k] came on, SDS had an altar call after the lead singer gave his testimony and preached a bit... our of the 3000 teens (almost all teens) who showed up, I'd venture that at least half responded to the altar call in the middle of the concert... some of them even missed some of Superchic[k]'s concert...
But, hey, keep getting those old-fashioned tent preachers and pretending its still 1950 and expecting people from 2007 to respond... But I have to let you in on a secret, it isn't gonna work anymore...
You have to be relevant to the people you are trying to reach in order to reach them... and old-fashioned tent preachers aren't relevant anymore....

The message works, but just like a "tent revival" used to be a draw for people, other things draw them now...
all a tent revival was was a gimmick... Now we need to find a new gimmick that is relevant to modern society...
OH YEAH!! The other problem is the massive growth of charismaticism... See, now there are 500,000,000 people worldwide who speak in/have spoken in tongues... So what we do isn't "unusual" anymore... In fact, its downright normal... So we can't just go "HOLY GHOST REVIVAL!!" and expect people to respond, because EVERYONE is having Holy Ghost Revivals....
