Both. We couldn't put 20 more people in our old building when the hurricane hit. Now we're just about back in the same shape.

The new one should seat about 750 and hopefully will be done about the first of the year.

That's awesome! We need to build RIGHT NOW, but we still owe on the last building project from three years ago. We need $3 million TODAY. Then my hubby would be way less stressed!

After insurance funds from the totalled building we should be in the new building (with the old building about 90% restored) for less than $500,000. In that aspect the hurricane was a good thing I guess.

Well, God DOES take those things the enemy meant for destruction and use them for good, but it's going through those times that are hard.

I heard Bishop Garlington say that when God closes one door, He opens another one........but it's "heck" in the hallway! (only he didn't say HECK).

Just last night I made a 'blooper' of sorts. Suffice it to say that it caught even me by surprise when I was talking about the Devil stirring up all kinds of Hell in our world and that the Church needed to get weary enough of it that we spring into action. Before I knew it I said, "It's about time for this Church to scare the ---- out of the Devil!"

When it dawned on me what I said I stopped dead in my tracks... but my Church went up in smoke!

They may forget every message you have ever preached but when you are in the old folks home they will remind you of this blooper I have made plenty of them.
