The reason there is so much divorce we see people who are christians on Sunday and Wednesday. We need to be christians 24/7...

If you would read the entire reply, it says sex should be AFTER service not BEFORE service, the day of.

Not engaging on Church days IS conforming to God's word. Men can wait til after church or on off nights if you are really serious about the manifestation of God's presence in your services.

DM, we are the Church everyday ... we are to walk in the Spirit, all the time, including during times of intimacy.[As odd as that sounds] You have no bible for your position. Sister Alvear is correct. The bible teaches not denying our spouses.

Good grief! Too ridiculous. Too much misinformation to sort through. I am staying off this thread.
But I am agreeing with Sister Alvear, of course, that [marital] sex is holy and created by God. (It does not detract from the presence of God in our services).

Anyway...
I actually feel more relaxed and willing to focus on God when I've "engaged"...I won't elaborate on why. But perhaps I can concentrate more on the present then and less on things to come

My conviction is from Leviticus and personal experience. I'm not sure what kind of annointing you experience, but my spiritual background is Texas conservative and the manifestion of God's presence comes from self-denial and sacrifice, not "sex is spiritual" freelove.
