It is sad that ten years later he is forced to make the same decision.
MOW was not forced to do anything; any decision he has made has been by his own accord.... just as rgcraig had previously stated....

So....even though my post was deleted and posed as "wrong", I was right.
Once again, spirits of division have trumped unity!
Its life the "Affirmation Statement" all over again.
MOW you are wrong!!! WE CAN CO-EXSIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We must...for only then would we TRULY be APOSTOLIC!
No, owner, admin, moderator or poster has the corner market on the true definition of "Apostolic". THAT is the bottom line!
I know all three of you owners that are UPCI Pastors...you are good guys.
BUT...MOW is a wonderful Christian man. I have known him for over 20 years and have preached in his pulpit.
HE was a "casualty" of the "Affirmation Statement" and I find it sad, and the thought of him being a "casualty" of this forum makes me feel literally sick to my stomach.
I
I think this would be a PERECT time for all to sit back and ask ourselves...what is our direction and our purpose here. Is it dialogue among friends, ministerial collegues, and other fellow Christian Bro and Sisters or is it about trying to force into a mold of conformity.
The underlying opinion of mine is this....MOW has no complaints of how he was treated....and he was clear about how respectful folks have been to him.
BUT I sense hurt in him that he would have to make the choice to leave his forum family......
It is sad that ten years later he is forced to make the same decision.
WHEN WILL WE LEARN!!!
Gotta go.....this really hurts and totally, IMO displeases the very throne of Grace.

Dan, you still don't get it do you?
Yours was pulled because it wasn't YOUR place to set MOW's leaving straight.

Malvaro, I appreciate you. I think you are a great guy. i also think you and Renda, who I have utmost respect for, are spinning this.
I have a great deal of respect for MOW. I appreciate his integrity.
a) "great guy" hehehehe.... that was worth 2 brownie points....
that actually made me chuckle a bit....
b) "spinning" is a pretty strong statement.... what we've said is truth;
what's there to spin???
rgcraig.... I think can spin better than you can....

The reason is a little nebulous. Two opposing viewpoints in the admin team that can't coexist. Is that saying libs and cons cannot coexist in the unity of the Spirit of Christ which puts us all in the same body to further the kingdom? or is MOW tired of the constant struggle? MOW stay and be a voice of reason and love despite the disagreements.
Perhaps pastoral control of information was the glue that held the merger together? Now the internet, along with other elements of modern life, is the solvent that is mixing these heretofore-held-seperate elements together, and it is sparking some spectacular reactions.
For there to be another "gentleman's agreement" such as what bound libs and cons together in the merger, we'll first need to locate some gentlemen - a scarce commodity these days.

For me, this forum has been about discovery, education and entertainment. Would this be a bad time to say in which category I've mentally placed you?
Dan, when it gets to you like this take a couple days off. God bless you!
