LOL!! I know...
May someone be encouraged today with this word from the Word...
Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant. ( Psalm 119:76).
God sees, knows, cares, and is on the way...!!

Sis. Barb,
Thank you for your kind words. Got up to get some water and browsed
the forum a few minutes and saw your sweet post. You are a sensitive,
caring soul and I appreciate your sensitivity to God and His people.
May God bless you and your sweet mother, and all of your family, in
Jesus Name.

And dry them with my hair

You did not feel what I felt

And you don't know the cost of my praise

I love this song. It ministered to me so much while I was raising my girls as a single mother because I am such a worshipper and no one truly does know the cost of our praise.

Barb,
You remind me so much of a friend who writes like you do. She is an encourager also and writes things like this to people who she loves. She is not in my life at the moment.
You've probably read the little thing about people being in your life for a season and she is not there right now. I've also always heard the little adage that when one door closes another one opens. I am glad that He opened the door to our online friendship. You have such a sweet spirit. As Sherri said, I hope we get to meet someday. I can't wait to hug your neck and thank you in person for all the encouragement you have sent my way.
I pray God's blessings on you in a mighty way today!

tam, it is a surety that God knows what we need, when we need it. I am grateful for the kindness of His people and am only returning what God has laid on my heart.
Thank you for your blessings...they are received with a grateful heart.

LOL!! Bless your heart, DT...
I have discovered that little sap is good, ya know?! I remember a day when my heart was hardened, especially against God and His Church, but thank God for Jesus who rebuked satan long enough for me to give my life to Him.
What a difference grace makes...

While I was at work today, this post, in particular the bolded portion was with me, ministering to my spirit.
In Colossians 2:2, Paul states, "That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ."
The Living Bible reads, "This is what I have asked of God for you: that you will be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love, and that you will have the rich experience of knowing Christ with real certainty and clear understanding."
What is it that knits the hearts of God's people together?! What is the tie of love and respect that binds, though we have not met face to face?!
It is the grace of God abounding in our hearts...it is the Word and the Name and the Blood of the Redeemer.
It is the peace that passes all understanding which allows us to walk hand in hand with the household of faith.
Not relying on what we think or opinion or agenda...not reaching for status or applause, we are free to love and be loved by God's wonderful people.
When our hearts are knit together, we are not seeking our own, but that which will encourage and comfort the other.
This is God's Body...His building...His Church that He purchased with His own Blood.
May heaven help us to be the Church He intended we be...holy, called out and set apart, with hearts knit together in the love of Christ...bound with chains of godly love that the enemy cannot penetrate.
