I think it's funny when my husband get's jealous. Sometimes it bothers him to hear about things that happen at work b/c there are mostly men here - he wont say anything, but you can see it all over his face.

then on the flip side - the other day we were sitting down to eat at a restaurant and this waitress just stopped dead in her tracks looking at my husband and said hello to him....it was one of those deep, familiar looks...you know? Someone who apparently knew who he was......I of course stopped dead in my tracks and just looked at her like "who do you think you are" She was being all friendly and asking how he was doing, you know the "Its so good to see you" routine. (she never even acknowledged I was there) Dont forget, I'm still just standing, frozen, at my chair. I was (-) this close to just popping her one.....
then she walked away.
My husband looked over at me and after he stopped laughing at my demenor and the apparent "Dont make me cut you" expression on my face....told me who she was. Which was harmless, I still didnt care for who she was the the connection to his past, but still it just ran ALL over me....
she was some cousin, or married to a cousin of his ex wife....
it made his day, he told everyone we know that story....
