Rhoni, perhaps the point is that God has ALREADY qualified you - and is working on qualifying you more and more each day. He qualified you because He called you.

That statement doesn't mean that God never uses the qualified. Of course He does - if you read the second half of the statement, it clearly says that God QUALIFIES. So God is not against being qualified. Far from that! I'm guessing that somewhere in the back of your mind - or perhaps even in the front of your mind - when you got your education, you did it because God was calling you to do the job He's got you in. So He qualified you. Simple as that.

Don't be offended. Be happy - God has a calling for your life and He's already qualified you for it.

I am not sure I am a great person but I do have my strengths as well as weaknesses. I don't want a man unless he can cover me and be my strength. I am tired and need a rest.

P.S. I need my own personal shrink:sshhh

Sis. Margie,

Thank-you for those encouraging words. Sometimes I get lost in my own mind. For some reason I feel somehow 'tainted' and my self esteem hits the floor..Chosen had me pegged. Through the years I have been humbled to the point of feeling like digging a pit and falling into it and letting the enemy throw dirt over me. Then other times God sends me a word...to let me know He still has designs on me.

Yesterday I was marketing at local churches and felt led to go to The Church on the Rock International Headquarters church. I just stepped out of the car and a man approached me, asked me if I was a Prophetess...I told him No, but I had been used in the gifts before. He asked me if he could pray for me...I never turn down a prayer. He then prophesied over me. He could have been a nut, or he could've been an angel, but whoever the dude was...he prophesied the same things that have been prophesied over me for the past three years. Looks like I would just sit back and let it happen.

Anyway, thank-you for the encouragement. For some reason, for the past few years I have needed other's affirmations. You know, counselors can tell others but have a difficult time counseling themselves!:sshhh

Blessings, Rhoni

Sis. T,

I went to your site and it had many good things..I am sure it helps many. The things I struggle with are of a spiritual nature and when the devil attacks I withdraw into my shell when I need to be on the offensive and attack him and his strongholds.

My strength is being renewed as I wait on the Lord.

Thank-you for your prayers.

Blessings, Rhoni

Oh Rhoni, you are too cute. I have so enjoyed reading all the comments in your thread.... "Health not Vanity"...
First of all, I think getting ones mind off problem and on solution is and A+ start... need a picture of how one likes self best on dressing room mirror!
It seems getting off food causing cravings is very important. Getting off sodas has helped me. Also, I am sooooooooo having to balance my diet to get off diabetic meds.
Yes, Rhoni, you are in my prayers... Looking forward to seeing you at Peace. Must go to Louisiana, my home until 88, to help my 83 year old Mother so will be away about 10 days. My sis is having knee surgery and Mother cannot drive in the New Orleans area.
Hugs, Lar's wife... Jo...

PS.. Praise the Lord, my dh, Larry Blakey, is the one w/ the incredible testimony posted on this board as given at Peace Church.

Sis. Jo,
You are who I thought you were! I met your hubby Sunday. I just love all your family. There is a heritage of many generations of God's blessings on you and yours! I heard Bro. Larry's testimony and I know God is good all the time!
Blessings, Rhoni

P.S. Don't you just love our church? I'll be praying for your Sis.
