Canada is like California or NY right now, or pick a State that is even more liberal. There is an order against no one other than your immediate family meeting in your household. A lot of people flaunt it even sinners, but this is where the Nazi left comes in and the Government suggests they tattle on their neighbors. The powers that be got wind of it, and when members of the Church showed up on Sunday morning, they found RCMP vehicles blocking the entrance. They all got fined anyways, even though they didn't have Church. They are one of the Churches that are contesting these orders in Court. Why can people go to strip clubs, Grocery Stores, Gyms and yet Churches are closed, even though we practice the same social distancing, masks if people want one, and hand sanitizers.
I hear and see the possibility of Martial Law down in the States. If that happens, you will be in worse shape than we are.

A strip club, and a gym were opened, but a church was closed? Sounds like it's time to move. Martial Law? Ron, do you get most of your information out of California?

Your answer implies rather strongly that your church will not defy government orders to not assemble unless somebody - namely me - is willing to pay the legal expenses. Or in other words, you believe your church will not make a serious stand unless it is guaranteed to not cost anything.

Nobody offered to pay my legal expenses when I had to fight school districts about homeschooling my children. The whole thing about making a stand for Christ and His Word is that God takes responsibility for bailing you out - or not. Either way, it's His decision, the one standing isn't concerned about avoiding inconvenience, gaol, or even death.

So it seems as if it really is about the money. You make a stand, you risk losing money. Can't mitigate the risk so you don't make the stand? Y'all will make the stand but only if someone else foots the bill?

If you guys made a stand for God's Word, you would be at the top of my prayer list. And if I could help out in any way, I would. But your response indicates my help will likely not be required.

Martial law, insurection act, call it what you will. Old Pierre Trudeau in I think 1970 when Quebec Seperatists kidnapped the British diplomat And he invoked the War Powers Act but only in Quebec.

No, we look at it like this, the shut down is temporary, there are legal challenges ongoing.
Now, do you Support the challenges going on in the States I'm the courts on Trump's behalf?

Sounds like it's time to move? I've been wanting to move for a long time for many reasons, but God says no. Seeing as he bought me with his blood and he owns me, it gives him the right to tell me where to go, how long to be there and what to do while I am here. After all, he is Lord and Savior, or at least he is supposed to be.
If he didn't, I would have been living in the US I a small town going to a Conservative Church.
God said that isn't his will for me. In my 37 yes of living for God, 4 of the 6 Pastors I had were Americans. Thank God they listened and obeyed to what God wanted from them.

I've been saying for over a decade the elections are rigged especially with the "voting machines". As for court challenges? Go for it, is my view. But keeping in mind it wasn't Joe Bob Methhead out in the trailer park who "hacked" the election. When the government becomes criminal, how likely is it that the government is going to properly investigate and prosecute itself?

I can see your point. What my point is in saying that we let legal means and timelines run its course. I am told that both January 8 and legal challenges in court are coming soon and then it will come to the point where we may end up losing everything if need be.
One other thing, I live in the second most expensive city in the world. We don't own our property, we rent. We are beholden to people, and even though we are renting a facility from another Church organization, they are really just a social club, with a social Gospel ie, they believe in gay marriage, obeying the Government's every whim.
